Charanjit Singh's Synthesizing is a rad experiment in electrified disco ragas, originally released in 1982. With basslines courtesy of the Roland 303, this is essentially a proto-Acid House record in an Indian mode. Synthesizing is slated for an April reissue by Bombay Connection. I recommend picking this up. My own digital copy is not mastered as pristinely as the BC release and, further, its not broken up by song- the files are just labelled as sides 1 & 2. That in mind, I feel just fine about sharing it with you; my interweb friends.
