The Long Harvest, Coming Soon....

Ewan MacColl & Peggy Seeger "The Long Harvest v.1-10" (Argo, 1966-1968).

A 10 record set of traditional ballads, performed in their British, Scottish & American forms. This is amazing stuff. I'm ecstatic about having stumbled upon the complete LP collection. To be digitized and posted ASAP, for your listening pleasure. Now I've got my work cut out for me....

I listened to all of these as a student in the audio library at VCU in Richmond--made tapes of some of the tracks--now the tapes are kaput. How's the digitalization going? I'm waiting patiently but eagerly!

Oh, and you can buy the sequel "Blood and Roses" as well.

Parsa, they are not "still available," they just became available and it is not an official believe per se, but more of a way for die hard fans to get these long out of print records. I have purchased these, and the quality is not great. They are taken off scratchy records. Perhaps our friend here has a better quality record and could therefore share better quality versions of the albums that many of us have already purchased

its a deal. i actually ended up moving this past summer, so that was the first obstacle. i've also actually been waiting till i can buy a new scanner because i want to do it right and include all the liner notes- which are awesome and wildly extensive. give me another two months and it'll be all yours. and thanks again...
