These are the work of my friend
Allyson Mellberg-Taylor, who's gracefully unsettling paintings will be on display next week at the
Cinders Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
An Unearthly Child opens Friday, Sept 10 and runs until Oct 10. Allyson was just interviewed in The Sept 2010 issue of
Juztapoz (*Link is to an older feature-"Process-Inspiration"). She and her husband
Jeremy Seth Taylor make their own paints from egg tempura, walnuts and various dye plants harvested from their home garden. They live in Charlottesville, VA with their sweet cat, Fricktoria. NYC- Go see this show!

Obviously I couldn't get to this show, but it's really cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if there was a show catalogue, or a mongraph?
